The impetus for this guide came about during my four years as owner of lulu’s café on Beach Avenue. Often daily requests for suggestions from excited couples and brides with their families, coupled with witnessing the numerous wedding parties moving around town, started the ball rolling. My previous life before owning my business in town was spent in New York City first as a producer, then as an art director, for print photography, mainly fashion clients, including Anthropologie, Aeropostle, Bloomingdales, Jim Hjelm Bridal, Neiman Marcus, and Real Simple Magazine. This ten year stint developed and honed a razor sharp perspective, sophisticated aesthetic and sensibility that I think, and hope you’ll agree, adds a unique layer to this resource.
